Tilikum Tree Care was built from roots that run four generations deep in the logging and timber industry. Since childhood, I worked beside my family in the woods, learning the value of hard work, safety, and respect for the land. In 2024, I carried that legacy forward by starting my own tree care and contract timber falling business.

The name Tilikum comes from the Chinook Jargon, once spoken throughout the Pacific Northwest. It means people, family, or community — a perfect reflection of what our business stands for. We are family-owned and operated, with my wife Crystal and our three children lending a hand when needed. Just as important, we view every customer as part of our extended Tilikum, trusting us to care for their trees, homes, and land.

Along the way, I earned a business degree from American University, where I also wrestled as a Division I athlete before competing at Oregon State. Wrestling taught me grit, discipline, and how to think my way through challenges — qualities that I now bring to every job.
